Tell Me All About the New Communion Bowls
I took a lathe woodturning class in October 2023. I had been wanting to take a woodturning class for quite a long time, so after finally going through the course, I had a lot of ideas I wanted to try out.
One of the things I had in mind was to create something like a charging plate or bowl. I've made orgonite charging plates (smaller ones to use as a charging coaster for glasses, and larger to use with plates/bowls/pitchers of water) before, and they worked really well. So I was thinking of making something like a woodturning version, and that also incorporated tensor rings into the design and functionality of it. So that it could be used to charge up and energize food and water.
So one day I'm working on "rough turning" a few bowls, and have this design in mind where I will be putting a tensor ring along the top rim of the bowl, as an inlay in the rim. I was beginning to like the idea, and I was thinking about it as I drove home.
Jesus popped in, and immediately showed his enthusiasm for the bowls that I was working on, and began insisting that I should call them communion bowls. To be honest, I'm not sure sure how well I liked the idea...but he just wouldn't let it go. He insisted..."because they'll be used in the true meaning of the word: communion."
So I looked up the meaning of the word, to get an understanding of what he meant.

That's what I had in mind as I was working to create these first few bowls. I wanted to create a sacred container that could be used by an individual or a group to energize and activate whatever was placed inside the container, inside the bowl. And when a bowl is used in a group setting, it can help facilitate a sacred ceremony, where objects can be placed within the bowl, as everyone focuses on manifesting a collective goal. Communion.
So Jesus helped play a role in the naming of these sacred bowls. And playfully, I have nicknamed them Jesus bowls.
They come in many different shapes and sizes, so grab the one that speaks to you. A small one to place on your altar, a medium-size one to have on your coffee table with a few crystals inside, or a large one to use in a group setting, in community. You can see our available bowls here
